If Gasol finally decides to commit to bench 5 minutes wise then Hill will get time. if Gasol still wants a majority of post touches despite Dwight being on the floor at the same time..then Hill won't.

It's up to Pau really.

Till then, Hill will only get burn when Dwight or Pau is in foul trouble.

Good. Pau is a better player than hill anyways. Hill doesn't need to get on the floor. One dimensional players aren't a necessity. Would rather have pau or Dwight in the game than hill. Honestly could care less about hill. Average player at best.

I like Hill also. I don't know which is more valuable. Hill or D'antoni's system. I feel this system didn't win a ring with Nash in his prime and a more complete team back then, why now?? Although this system is similar to what VanGundy ran in Orlando, we don't have the tall, long shooters they had nor a WEAK Eastern conference (at that time) to go up against. I say keep the team in tact and let's roll until we can figure out how to play with each other. We have not played ONE game with all 12 players here or healthy. By the way, this Stretch 4 ISH is little overrated!! If everyone was doing their job it wouldn't be needed as much. I'd rather a guy shooting 60 percent in the post and getting the opposition in foul trouble than 35 percent from 3 and not being in position for an offensive rebound

Firstly you're not going to find many players who put up Hills effort for 3.5 Million per year. Second his hustle and defense far out weighs Pau at 19 million per year. Is Pau better? Yes. Is Pau 15.5 Million dollars better. No Effin' Way!! Here is the answer. Pau 32 minutes Dwight 36 minutes Hill and Jamison share 28 minutes unless we continue this Metta at the 4 crap

With out those 2 players they would be stuck with Jared Cunnigham and Derek Fisher(who is currently injured) so that would not be a smart trade for them Just to have Morris a player still developing, Ebanks who is not even better than Jae Crowder on defense or offense, DJO is self explanatory and they would not want hill they have a DEEP front court especially when Dirk comes back....

The Mavericks wouldn't be getting equal value back in that trade at all

Glad to hear this. Hill was gonna be useless when Pau was coming back with Metta now 4 bench. Trade Hill and lets get something useful since he wont be valuable in the rotation.

We need Pau for offense and we need Dwight for defense. Unfortunately we can't have both of them on the low block during offense.

It's the Celtics...perhaps they wont deal out of principle.

However, Hill for Barbosa and Lee, or Gasol for Green, Barbosa and Lee would make a lot of sense for both teams.

I couldn't see that happening to be honest I don't think it's the Celtics personnel... but IDK what it is that is so trash about them.... they have the same coach and the same core 3 minus Ray Allen... and they are struggling with young talent and veterans on their team
