Why Jamison? If Metta is going to be our back-up 4, then there won't be minutes for Antawn. This guy is done, I know he had a fluke game vs Denver in which he scored 33 points but then he had a stretch of 4-5 games scoring 0 points. We don't need a guy who never plays defense.

Honestly keep Meeks/Jamison/Hill. Instead we should focus on trading Pau for a stretch 4 and backup 3, and let Hill play the backup 5, which would be much better. Then our bench would be Blake/Meeks/(traded player)/Jamison/Hill. Much better.

I don't want to see Jordan Hill getting traded to another team I like this guy but Lakers had no choice cause Mike D antoni is not using him. I wish that Pau Gasol get traded to Josh Smith or Kevin Love so that Jordan hill will be the legitimate back up center of Dwight Howard

oh okay but the only thing I could see happening is we trading away our players for picks or maybe us possibly landing Austin Daye for picks.... cause he's the only young wing player that I have heard from teams that they are trying to get rid of and that we could realistically get with no picks

I'm assuming Jamison won't be traded because of his small contract, and no one wanting him. We need to get rid of some of our dead weight on this team. We really could use a solid wing player.

Those are really the only two the Lakers could be shopping.

And a lot of it has to do with Blake's injury and how he came back and whether or not it is worth it to keep Duhon and/or Morris.

But in terms of people they shop a lot lately Ebanks is on that list and Clark probably is as well. D'antoni wants to play Hill but is trying to find a place for him and as long as Metta keeps playing great as the stretch 4, him and Jamison are odd men out.

If Hill had a consistent jumper he'd probably get more time in the rotation. But when D'antoni gave him time "recently" that jumper wasn't falling. And D'antoni wants scoring at all position with his lineups(this is why he's putting Kobe at the 3 instead of Ebanks)

Honestly I think the Lakers are done looking for wing players. I'm pretty sure they're searching for a productive 3(from the bench) or an athletic 4 that has a jump shot.

Ariza would honestly be ideal in this scenario, replacing Ebanks with him.

If they do end up trading Jordan Hill, then they have to attach another player/contract with him to create space to sign Delonte West. Jordan Hill / with one of Devin Ebanks / Chris Duhon / DJO
