Gasol isn’t the only player the Lakers have explored moving, sources near the situation say the Lakers would like to open up a roster spot to add a new player or two so don’t be surprised if guys like Jordan Hill, Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris or Darius Johnson-Odom are moved in exchange for a backup point guard or a second round draft pick in order to open a spot for the Lakers to sign one.

Jordan Hill has been playing great. It's sad to see him not getting as many minutes in D'antoni's system as he once had. If we can get someone of value that will help us this year in return, I would do it.

Hill is one of the better backup centers in the league. Getting rid of him makes no sense at all. D'Antoni needs to stop being an idiot and play him and also Jamison.

Why Jamison? I'd rather have him the odd man out over Hiil

Because we need Jamison's scoring off the bench. Now with Meeks starting and Jamison out of the rotation we only have one guy who can score the ball in World Peace. Jamison really spaces the floor well. Both Hill and Jamison need to be in the rotation.

Jordan Hill is a gem of a player. His defense, energy and rebounding is awesome. You don't trade him - Instead, trade Jamison, Blake, Odom, Clark, etc. NOT him.

Changed the title, because they aren't only shopping Hill. Looks like Meeks/Jamison are the only two not being shipped

Only thing I would say is that maybe trade him if you can get an Andre Miller, Calderon type backup PG (and if you can include bench trash like Clark, Blake, etc.).

Im fine with this. Hill is the odd man out. There really just isnt any minutes if pau is staying and metta starts playing the 4(which was doing well). I would have preferred to get rid of pau and keep hill bu too bad. Having a player who actually gets time is better than a player who doesnt play and could back up our bigs.

But people have to rememeber that jamisnon did well for a few games but once he got his spot for real playing time he coasted. Just look at the last 5/6 games he played with decent time. He barely did anything offensively and if he isnt scoring he's usuless. Hus defense is horrendous. The only thing saving him is that no trade clause.

Good luck trading anyone outside of Hill. Everybody else on the bench has as much value as the dump I took this morning.

Trade everyone except Morris and if you do trade Morris get a young player who can play better defense then him and can shoot a Higher 3pt percentage then him...

Not even suprised. Right now the entire Laker team is expendable and trade-able besides Kobe, Dwight and Nash. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Its just moving them for the "right" pieces.
