Career 9 points per game, 36% 3PT. Shooting 42% from 3s this year, hes been closing games out at PG off the bench instead of Jeremy Lin, been doing that for weeks (including the game where we got beat at Houston). He hand an off year last year because of Linsanity and the lockout ottherwise 3 out of hte 4 years hes been rock solid
He was the 29th pick in the NBA Draft...the Lakers pick. We sold that pick for $3 mil and a 2011 2nd rounder, which turned out to be Andrew Goudelock
Not whining about spilled milk here but I remember in 2009 and 2010 lot of people were asking to look for a point guard who can create and shoot 3s and we basically gave that guy away and got someone else just like him and cut him
Heres how Douglas is doing his last 5 games facing teams like us, San Antonio twice and Boston
29 mins, 12.6 pts, 2.2 assists 58% 3s
Just something to think about. We've done well with trades and an occasional FA signing (Artest, Jamison, Meeks) but drafting has been terrible
I know 2nd rounders and late 1st rounders aren't exactly gold mines but when you want to be the best and when you have limited flexibility due to a high paying roster wouldn't you use your draft picks wisely instead of selling them away.
