9 games in a row of 30+ points...
Not all of them have been gems, but they are impressive as a whole.

Kobe passed John Havlicek on the all time career FGs made tonight vs. the Wizards. Just another record for the Mamba.

Exactly. Not aiming at anyone in particular here, but there seems to be a decent number of people on here who still think Kobe is the main culprit in this downfall. Your just plain wrong.

It is human nature, to put the blame on someone when you can't depict or make sense of something. Kobe even admitted it in an interview, and generally stated that you must turn to yourself instead of others and focus on what YOU are doing wrong. I think what some fans are doing wrong is being too rash in their decision making and thought processes.

If each Laker can turn to themselves to find what they are doing wrong as an individual, rather than blaming another player, I can only imagine good results.

It doesn't really matter because the Lakers lost 6 out of those 8 games.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Nothing new just "Kobe doing Work"! Even with a bad back. the level of determination is cr8z.

the other guys on the team are just so mentally weak they submit to challenges & obstacles/pressure

I'm sick of people pulling up that "we'll we lose every time he does that" garbage.. Kobe has to single handed oh bring us back into every game. Look at his shooting percentage.,.. It's not like he just is chucking up bricks and a few makes.. Had we not had Kobe, this team would not win a game and be blown out by 30 every game

Kobe gets blame, amazingly, in part because he plays every single night.

The points don't bother me. Its the amount of shots he takes to get those 30+ points. If he's taking 25+ shot attempts then he better be on fire. Somewhere between 16 to 24 shots a game for Kobe should be enough.

He only cranked up the volume of his shooting when it became clear that he couldn't count on anybody else for the teams point production

Ask Kobe what he'd want:

30 point games

OR

Losses

NOBODY CARES about these individual accomplishments (ESPECIALLY Kobe) when they come in a loss.

If you really admire Kobe, pick up that mindset from him and these threads will cease to exist.

30+ points again tonight...

Metta at PF seems to make this team click...

Pau and Hill are expendible if MWP can get almost 20 points and 15 rebounds as the PF

Kobe is on a tear...
He is hitting shots that he missed the last few years...

He looks like he could average 30 PPG this year...

after tonight, he will be at 29.4 or 29.5 PPG

well ahead of the rest of the league... scoring titles and many records to come

This is even more impressive when you look at his peers for this season...

Harden has only topped 30 6 times all season, and only in 2 games in a row
Lebron has done it only 5 times all season, and only 2 games in a row..
Melo has done it 8 times this season, and THREE games in a row!
Durrant has done it 8 times this season as well, but only 2 games in a row, but 4 of his last 5, so he is HOT!!!

Kobe has done it 8 of his last 9 games!!!! and 6 times in a ROW!!!

He has as many 30 point games, in his last 9 games, as any other player has the ENTIRE season, and he has had TWICE as many 30 point games in a row, as the next highest player in the LEAGUE!

All in his 17th season
Under 3 different coaches!

Hail KOBE
