Why don't you guys create the threads all beforehand so when it's gameday you can just open the thread to be visible.

Sorry guys, this was on me. I went to create the topic this morning, left it up when I had to leave quickly...and while I was gone, I was posting from my phone for a while, then suddenly couldn't get back on (server issues that I THOUGHT were wireless issues), so I just gave up trying to do anything through my phone. Should have had the topic ready.

We were having issues with the old topics (they become "old" when we create them ahead of time, and then post in them months later) appearing in the "new content" section of the site, so we just decided to create topics on the fly.

It's not a hassle, we just sometimes don't get around to it if we are busy in our personal lives. It gets up one way or another so it's not a big deal.
