Go take a listen to Rakims albums

And tell me any new rap can compare to the old school

listen to "flow forever" and "the 18th chapter" and tell me any single rapper can compare to his new albums...and that's just his new [expletive]

then after that go listen to Eric B and Rakim and tell me a single rapper that can come close to him

16 rhymes in a second good luck to anyone that wants to challenge Rakim

you mean "The 18th Letter?" Posted Image

I'm from the West, but I have grown to appreciate Biggie... Dude is super talented and right here, he effortfully finesses the track with ease

Read every page to this topic. My 1 cent, to each his own. You like who you like. I prefer an artist who has substance to his or her rhyme. Artist like Eminem who tell you about cleaning out his closet or artist like Angel Haze who tell you about Cleaning out her Closet... Ab-Soul track can anybody hear me is nice. Logic's Numbers is dope. I'm not dissin Wayne or anybody from Young Money, but money, bad b's, girls and all that goes so far, yet folk like.

What's funny to me is that all it takes is one Line.... Popped A Molly, Now I'm sweatin'... Now almost every young buck poppin one screamin it
It's like a gimmick for the money. I'm not hatin but I'm not a fan of it.

Call it what you want but artist like Little Brother, Tanya Morgan, SlaughterHouse, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jadakiss, Immortal Technique and Demigodz... Just a few artist I listen to that are dope. I don't listen to the radio at all unless its for talk radio. The radio is to watered down with the same 10 song rotation every hour. I'm cool on that

Anyway... Please carry on...

One thing that i don't like is how people on't understand that making a popular song is not easy.

It actually requires a skill to be liked.

not, is Gucci as talented with words as the members of Slaughterhouse...NO1

Is he the better rap artist? Yes... h emakes music that people want to hear and his downloads are not only from one region.

People can like what they like, but don't get mad if you don't get why lil B took off, or why Trinidad James is killing in the clubs.
