Giving up 41 points in 12 minutes. We really forgot how to contest shots or even play D.
We usually play like crap in the first half and then play "lakers basketball" in the 2nd half and try to come back .. For an example: OKC, New York, Utah Jazz, and Cleveland.
If we start the game with energy and urge to win. This wouldnt be happening.

A lot of the Knicks shots they were making in the first were with a hand in their face as well. Carmelo didn't do much in the 2nd and wasn't doing much in the 3rd before he got hurt. But the problem was we'd dug too deep a hole early on. Which is usually the case.
At least we started playing that way starting in the 2nd and did it through the 4th. Now we just need to start in the 1st lol!

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

The positive from this game are limiting the TO after the 1st quarter with 12 in total.

Wide open three's, horrible def....I lost it when Sheed was the trailer and got a wide open shot at the top of the key.

But unfortunately such things have not happened as of yet. But I'm pretty sure after tonight he's going to be on his way. Duhon nor Morris played very long and I doubt we're going to have Meeks maining the 1 position for long.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Having 30 - 30 scoring in the first quarter has a defensive problem already much worst if your opponent is having 41 points on the first quarter already that's too much

Thing is, we seemed to figure them out after the adrenaline of them wore off in the first quarter and we slowed it down to our pace before winning every other quarter
