Those first 3 quarters of basketball cost us. Let's not pretend the game was ever really in reach.

let's not pretend that getting one of those two rebounds wouldn't have offered us an opportunity to close the gap just because you don't want to concede we had a chance.

Freaking sad.

That's not going to happen without looking at Nash and Gasol in the starting lineup.

Nor should it...

Did you see how anxious D'Antoni was during those FT's, furiously scribbling on his clipboard drawing up a play? Look at the pathetic play he came up with, a jacked up 3 by Meeks that failed horribly...

[expletive] you D'Antoni...

Can we play Bickerstaff coaching style? Just go out there read each and play pick up ball? We were blowing out people that way

Against great teams no less.

Well watching that Meeks played the 1 the entire 2nd half after a few minutes of Duhon and Morris didn't play at all. I have a feeling Delonte is coming soon.

It's obvious D'antoni has given up on Morris. I called that last game. And today he preferred Meeks over Duhon at the 1 and Meeks didn't do bad with it doing what Duhon is asked to do but better while playing better defense.

Also surprisingly the 3,4 of Artest and Ebanks worked defensively. They were doing pretty good at locking up Carmelo in the 2nd and the 3rd before he went down.

LOL

Kobe 9 rebounds, Dwight 7 rebounds.

Shows the level of energy/effort each is bringing to the table. I think dwights come to a level of frustration where he's not even trying as hard as he could despite not being 100% you can even tell by his body language throughout the game

that's ridiculous. getting nash back will help the offense somewhat but we're talking about two players who are the worst defenders at their positions that this league has ever seen. oh and we still have mike d'antoni...a proven loser.

Pau Gasol is GONE

And being a team containing many old players.

They have a stretch 4 and a center(Amar'e) that is willing to come off the bench when he returns. They also have a stretch 4 coming off the bench(Novak) that is better than our stretch 4(Jamison) They also have two point guards(Felton and Kidd) better than Duhon and Morris.

Doesn't surprise me. They have the correct pieces where they matter the most. Whereas our pieces are either inconsistent or injured.
