Those first 3 quarters of basketball cost us. Let's not pretend the game was ever really in reach.
let's not pretend that getting one of those two rebounds wouldn't have offered us an opportunity to close the gap just because you don't want to concede we had a chance.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

That's not going to happen without looking at Nash and Gasol in the starting lineup.
Nor should it...

again...lakers getting so deep in a hole almost a 30 pts deficit and comes within single digits in the last minutes....sigh.
Against great teams no less.
Well watching that Meeks played the 1 the entire 2nd half after a few minutes of Duhon and Morris didn't play at all. I have a feeling Delonte is coming soon.
It's obvious D'antoni has given up on Morris. I called that last game. And today he preferred Meeks over Duhon at the 1 and Meeks didn't do bad with it doing what Duhon is asked to do but better while playing better defense.
Also surprisingly the 3,4 of Artest and Ebanks worked defensively. They were doing pretty good at locking up Carmelo in the 2nd and the 3rd before he went down.

Shows the level of energy/effort each is bringing to the table. I think dwights come to a level of frustration where he's not even trying as hard as he could despite not being 100% you can even tell by his body language throughout the gameLOL

If Melo had not been hurt it would have been much worse
Cause no one is injured on our team right?

that's ridiculous. getting nash back will help the offense somewhat but we're talking about two players who are the worst defenders at their positions that this league has ever seen. oh and we still have mike d'antoni...a proven loser.

And being a team containing many old players.
They have a stretch 4 and a center(Amar'e) that is willing to come off the bench when he returns. They also have a stretch 4 coming off the bench(Novak) that is better than our stretch 4(Jamison) They also have two point guards(Felton and Kidd) better than Duhon and Morris.
Doesn't surprise me. They have the correct pieces where they matter the most. Whereas our pieces are either inconsistent or injured.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
