Saw it. 7/10 action and effects were incredible. The movie was loud and proud

Story was kind of uninteresting. There was too long of a break between the first kaiju fights and the last ones. Like 50 min or so

Also I lol'ed at the stick fighting scene, so cheesy

But it was well made and the action was exciting

Saw it in 3D DBox,  [expletive]ing amazing lol if you can get the chance to do the same..... do so...... I had so much fun haha.  The seats shakes perfectly with everything,  probably the only movie that can truly work well with Dbox.  It can get a little cheesy at times,  but its all in tribute.

Damn, I'm going to have to check this out. I'm not big on going to the theaters to catch the movies, but this one will be a definite exception.

Did you get to watching this Wade?

I wish. I am out of town now, mostly posting mobile which is quite rare from me. This is something I am still definitely going to catch in 3D @ Imax -- I'll post a full review here when I get around to it (sooner, rather than later).

Saw it today. Awesome movie.

The break in the fights didn't bother me as much, what bothered me was the incomplete story line of the funding for the Jaegers. Once they saw that wall get torn through like tissues, why didn't we see immediate aid being given back to the Rangers?

Still, great movie. Charlie Day was awesome, as always.

No Collins, but that Charlie Hunnam is such a charmer. He's got that "it" factor no question. I hope we only see bigger & greater things from him in the future.

yo.

Holy [expletive] this movie was badass. Must see movie. I really liked that it was over 2 hours long. Gave them way more fight scenes and every single one was amazing.

What was your guys' favorite part? I'd have to say mine was when the Gipsy Danger Jaeger had to jump in when the other two Jaegers got absolutely wrecked by the two Keijus. Those Russians cracked me up, I was just waiting for them to say, 'We must crush you'.

*spoilers*

Russians were my favorite man. It took 2 category 4 kaiju to take them down, awesome bot for being mark 1. Favorite part of the movie for me had to be when the kaiju took flight that entire scene was orgasmic for me.

The biggest disappointment by far was that you don't get to see the category 5 in a clear way.

Also they shouldn't have had every battle in the dark rain.

My biggest disappointment was that the Chinese and russians died in their first match that sucked big time
They builded up the atmosphere around those 2, supposedly they were incredible fighters and mehh

Point was kaiju were figuring them out and evolving and understanding what they had to do to take down the Metal buckets that kept killing them for years, plus they aren't used too category 4's. I can see why you're disappointed though.

Going to the movies in America, is a much more family centered thing. I suppose around the globe the older teenagers and 20's and 30's people go out it masses to the movies.
