Dwight Howard Already Knows Where He'll Sign

The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled to begin the 12-13 NBA season, but Dwight Howard seems to already have decided which team he will sign with as a free agent this summer.
"I know," said Howard when asked if he knows which team he will play with next season.
Howard was also asked whether he and Kobe Bryant can coexist.
"Why can't we coexist?" Howard asked. "Because we're opposites? I thought opposites attract.
"You know why we can play well together? Kobe knows how hard I work and that I'm all about championships. We're also entertainers, and for the two hours and 20 minutes that people come to a game they want to be entertained."

I think he's talking about the Lakers here. He's been excited about being in LA, and hasn't shown otherwise even in through the Lakers' struggles. I think he knows he's partially at fault too.
But if the Lakers continue to struggle and it looks like there's no future in LA, then he'll leave.

The guy is overated. What we should have done is traded Bynum for a PG or PF.
Welcome back, and enjoy your 4 days on the forum.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

you're a lakers fan and yet you don't know what's the problem of the lakersI'm a longtime Laker fan, and a realist. Gasol is much better Center in my opinion, despite his defensive troubles. We could have traded Bynum for a young and defensive PF. We could then have deleloped Hill to take Gasol's place, when Gasol leaves. Nash is good but we need a future PG, I don't think Darius is our guy.
it was the DEFENSE LMAO !
and you want gasol for the CENTER goodluck with that
Pick and roll kills gasol LMAO and you want him to be the center HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You don't think I know that, it's obvious to everyone but the Lakers. Gasol isn't our only defensive weakness, as you could tell by games thus far. What I like about Gasol at center is he's an offensive threat, who will make his free throws if fouled. Yeah he's not good on defense, but that is why we get a defensive PF, Jamison is garbage. I really hate people like you, who blame Gasol for the Lakers woes, and are to scared to criticizing Howard, for fear of him walking. Let him go, he's not as good everyone makes him out to be.
When did TJ Simers start posting here?

I like Pau and I'm one of the few that wants to continue giving him a chance. However, to say that he is a better center than Dwight is ridiculous. That is no knock on Pau, but Dwight is very capable of 20 points, 20 boards each and every game. The guy has the ability to out-muscle any of his opposition. Dwight is 10x the defender that Pau is. Pau has a better outside shot obviously, but that's not his strength. His strength is in the post, where he is about as soft as tissue. You don't think I know that, it's obvious to everyone but the Lakers. Gasol isn't our only defensive weakness, as you could tell by games thus far. What I like about Gasol at center is he's an offensive threat, who will make his free throws if fouled. Another thing, if Pau is supposed to be a leader on this team, he needs to speak up about where he's comfortable. If he wants to be on the post, he needs to make that known. Don't just sit on the perimeter and shoot mid-range jumpers. And if he is sitting around on the perimeter on offense, he needs to sprint back on defense as soon as the shot is made or missed. He has had zero hustle this season so far. I know he was suffering from knee tendinitis so I can't completely fault him for his lack of hustle, but a true competitor makes up for his deficiencies in other areas of his game.

I thought this was a forum for Laker fans. I didn't realize it was a forum for Dwight Howard fanboys. Look, Howard was sold to us as the new face of the franchise when Bryant leaves. thus far, I'm having a hard time buying it. The guy doesn't seem to be working on improving his free throws and doesn't show up to every game. Kobe is the opposite of this. Howard is a great guy, who has good dunk finishes. but other than that, he's not that good.
did you make a new user name because everyone didn't like you but now you're spewing the same garbage. lol hilarious. you even type the same.

Does Howard have any advantage in not yet saying he will sign with the Lakers next season?
It makes the Lakers try to appease Dwight Howard by making roster moves to satisfy him ala Deron Williams last year with the Gerald Wallace and Joe Johnson moves.
Hopefully the Lakers make better moves than that.
