Your looking at it wrong. That would be a great deal for Utah, horrible for Charlotte

A slow one dimensional big in Jefferson, and a good but no all star potential PF for a rising PG with a ton of potential

Utah would do it instantly if it meant they kept kanter

Utah would be thrilled to head into a future with walker, Hayward, favors, burks and kanter

I just don't see Pau having good trade value right now. You can talk all you want, but until he has value, nothing will happen, because no one will want him, other than teams trying to unload mediocre players with very large contracts (i.e. Bargiani)

in regards to this trade, ignoring the other teams haul. in no way is millsap and williams for pau not an awesome trade for us. that's an elite backup PG and one of the better role players in basketball for an aging big with a large contract.

add in the other factors, no chance in hell this happens

These 3 teams make sense for A 3 way trade. But they are not trading kemba

Just read Magic Johnson's interview on ESPN and stop wasting your time with bashing a great center. Nobody on that team but Kobe likes his current role or plays to his full potential.

Obviously as a Laker you do this trade - even for a Gasol apologist, like myself, this trade is a no-brainer.

I'm not sure if the other teams would do it though.
Utah are at risk of losing most of the guys involved in the trade this summer anyway, so they'd probably consider it. Obviously, Charlotte wouldn't like to give up Kemba, but as a small market team, they aren't going to be able to ink big FA, like Jefferson, anytime soon. Also, Kanter is not a bad piece to get back for Kemba.
