I wouldn't sign delonte. He's a distraction and zebras don't change their stripes.
unless you shave them.

Marc Stein
Two other available PGs that I have to believe Lakers will look at in addition to exploring trade options: Mike James and Jonny Flynn

Mike James played with Chicago last year. Averaged 5 pts, 2 assists, 40% in 11 games. He's old though at 37. Don't want him. Johnny Flynn however...hmmmmmmmmI dont even know who mike james is

Marc Stein
Lakers' top PG trade target, of course, has long been Pau's pal Jose Calderon. But Raps, to this point, want to attach Jose to a bigger deal
I dont like this but heck. as long as i dont see morris playing then okay

Don't even get me started on gimpy Jonny Flynn, who has never been able to shoot the ball (when healthy) or play defense. I'd rather sign [expletive]ing Shawn Bradley, at 40 years old, to play PG.

How would we pull off that trade? We would have to trade Blake, Duhon, and Clark just to get the salaries to match upMarc Stein

That means we'll get Delonte hopefully.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Passing on Barbosa was a big mistake...
oh yes,,,,hopefully we dont make two big mistakes now...
if mitch signs delonte,,,,i can never question him again,,,i know he makes trades happen,,but delonte would prove he wants to win, and that he knows talent at a smaller level
"The West aint close, now that the LAL got Dwight, who gon stop him on OKC!????" - Chris Webber (nba tv -August)
Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?
(Peace Pau we need pieces, not MettaWorldPieces!!!!!!!!)

how can i have confidence in Flynn after this^...sounds like something that would be said about Morris,,,and anything related to Morris, cant do it.....
sidenote: morris makes me violent..
