Take a chance with Delonte. He's great on D and will carry out basic instructions.

Plus, once Nash gets Healthy, Delonte will be a great backup PG/SG.

About time they considered some other PG options. While Duhon has done a decent job shooting 3s and dishing and Morris has showed the odd glimpse of talent they've played mostly like the 3rd and 4th options they are. That won't cut it in Antonis system which requires an elite PG and a good backup. With the Steves out we really need to make some moves or we will continue to lose. While this obviously won't solve all our woes we all knew that backup PG is an area that needs upgrading no matter what. I'd really like it if we gave Delonte West a shot as he's a guard that can actually play D. This team needs as much defensive help as possible.

One issue, of course, is Lakers have full 15-man roster. Among reasons they didn't sign D-Fish before Mavs: L.A. wanted to move one PG first

more than likely that's the case. in their ideal world i'm sure they'd love to trade clark and morris or something for a PG comparable to delonte west
