The New York Knicks have begun devising a strategy to acquire Kevin Love in 2015, according to sources.

The Knicks need another superstar to pair with Carmelo Anthony, who can leave the franchise in 2014.

The Knicks won't have cap space this offseason due to the contracts of Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and Andrea Bargnani.

Between now and Anthony's free agency, Love will be part of the Knicks' sell to get him to-resign.

Mitch: "Hey Glen, I heard you don't think Kevin is a star, we have Pau Gasol. He helped turn us back into contenders four years ago, what do you think about a straight up trade."

Glen: "Deal!"

Dear Lord, in your infinite wisdom.. please make this happen

So basically the Knicks pitch is that they will suck till 2015 when Carmelo will be two years older, and take a gamble on a player that they are not guaranteed to get? Awesome.
