Early in the season? 20 games have passed.

It's still very early though. We're barely in month two of the season. We need Nash back though.

At our current rate, we'll be out in the 1st round of the playoffs.

At their current rate, the Lakers are on pace for 36 wins. In the tough as [expletive] Western Conference, that weak ass [expletive] won't even make the playoffs period.

7th seed and thank the Gods for making the playoffs.

Pretty much. Sad state of affairs in Lakers land when the team can barely eke into the playoffs.

Not going to make the playoffs. already have 12 loses and its early Dec, will be lucky to go .500 Anyone who thinks Nash coming back will solve the turnovers, crap bench, awful FT shooting and pathetic defense that allows garbage teams to drop 110+ is delusional.

Assuming no changes, the Lakers will be a bottom seeded playoff team at best and lose in the 1st round. I wouldn't rule out the Lakers missing the playoffs.

Even with, the Lakers will only go as high as a middle-seeded playoff team. With the right changes, maybe they can be very good again. But, the Lakers have dug themselves too big of a hole to get a high playoff seed.

I'll say they get the 7th seed. I don't think the Lakers will make the right roster moves.

The Lakers should've moved Pau a long time ago. Even when he was playing well last year during the regular season, I just thought that this team needed help in more areas than he's helping in.

I'm not confident they'll actually move him.

You can't use the early in the season excuse anymore with this team. Almost half of the season is already over.

See how they do on this road trip. If its below .500 I will think that they may have dug too big a hole to make a miraculous comeback, which would be fitting. While championships aren't won in December, games are, and without those you can't win championships.

I'd rather get the 8th seed to face San Antonio and avoid OKC in the second round. I have no doubt we would destroy SA if our team is fully healthy, focused and firing on all cylinders.

Just want to see this team healthy and on the court together. The team they have right now is clearly not very good and are angling for the lottery.

Wow this is tougher than I thought..
I'd say 50-32.. 5th seed.

And that's my optimistic opinion..

I will say this though, the other top teams in the league do not want the Lakers to get a lower seed and have to face them in the first round.

Home court or no home court, the Lakers with Dwight/Kobe/Nash will be a tough out in the second and Western conference finals, much less having to face them in the first round.

We need to win the division.

If we reach our full potential (which I expect to happen around the All Star break) then seeding doesn't really matter because every other team is the underdog in a 7 game series against a legit (hopefully) Lakers team.
