Why cant he just play like in 2008-2010 period? I mean why is it so hard for a player to get back to his old game? He never had any major injurys..I just dont get it!!!!
Its called age? lol.

We need a third option ( Reliable and consistent). Gasol has always been under pressure due to trade rumors. He knows this is his last chance to prove it with Nash(more pressure than ever).
No surprising he played great against USA in the Olympics.
I doubt he'll build confidence.

I don't think age is why is Pau has declined. It's just mentality IMO. He still has the same ability, but he just doesn't have the same drive to win like he did in the two championship runs in 2009 and 2010.Its called age? lol.

Really?? I dont think so. I actually believe he has regressed immensely athletically and physically due to age/injuries (which at times come together). I watched a games of Gasol 2009 and Gasol 2010, its just not the same player athletically. Players BLOW past Gasol now on defence and he doenst take it to the rim the same way he used to. Trust me his declined.

Pau wouldn't say "You know I really don't think I can physically do it anymore... they should just trade me for someone like Josh Smith or that three team trade I saw on the internet and get a Derrick Williams and Trevor Ariza back, I'm just holding us back and taking advantage of Kobe's soft spot for me but the truth is, I'm done."
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

so... he aged that fast after the olympics? coz when he was playing during that time he looks very young and energized. so i dont buy that.. i think he just needs to be confident on his abilities which he doesnt have right now, thats why he's very passive on every aspect of his game.
