I'd say he's gonna get his chance when Nash comes back.

Because if Hill keeps knocking down the mid range shot and Jamison keeps excelling in the starting lineup. And Pau comes back and still struggles WITH Nash. It's pretty much it.

This tbh. I love Gasol but right now he's the ultimate factor that can keep up from getting to that championship level.

Imagine if he didn't hurt his back in the pre-season. Remember it was something he said he'd work on throughout, and then he had to sit out. I have seen that when he catches it in rhythm it usually goes down but when he has to stop and size up and then shoot it after all that it misses. But when he catches it off a screen or right at a stop where he catches it in rhythm and pulls. It goes down.

Need to see more of it. Because if he can hit the mid range shot he'll be very valued and will get more minutes. Took him a little bit to get into a confident rhythm in the Hornets game but once he started up he didn't slow down. He's pretty much a guy that can give us 10/10 every night off the bench and that's valuable, now add a mid range shot to that and we can ACTUALLY start running a play or two in his direction if it becomes consistent.

Why cant he just play like in 2008-2010 period? I mean why is it so hard for a player to get back to his old game? He never had any major injurys..I just dont get it!!!!

He was younger and in the Triangle system which works better for him. That's why.

He should just shut up and play. It's not that hard. No one is holding him back from playing closer to the basket, if he wanted to, he could post up and ask for the ball every other possession and he'd receive it. He's just not aggressive and always looks to deflect the issue instead of acknowledging it. It's all mental.

To be honest I don't know why he doesn't just play as a jump shooter. I think he's got a pretty decent jump shot from mid range.

It's nearly mid-December. Trade talks are starting to roll in, and February is the deadline. He's just sweet-talking his way into the month of March, and he'll continue to do it until we're stuck with him for the rest of the season.
