Anybody who wouldn't want LeBron on the Lakers is an idiot.

Yeah, anyone who says they'd stop being a Laker fan for good if LeBron wore the jersey clearly exposes themself as an obvious Kobe fan first & foremost purely, no Laker fan.

What does Kobe being here have anything to do with someone not wanting LeBron here?

^ With all due respect it's so obvious that that's not even a question worth asking.

Someone being a Kobe fan doesn't mean they wouldn't want LeBron here.  I don't see how they'd be in a conflict of interest with each other.

Maybe it just means they just hate LeBron.

It doesn't exactly mean all, but certainly many whom at least follow the Lakers.

Of course having lebron here would be great. We all dislike him now because everybody on ESPN and other media outlets are on that boy tough if you know what I mean. But he'll probably be the best player alive for the next 3-4 years. So yes. Bring him here if Dwight is here of course. It would be a deadly 1 2 punch.

Kobe fans don't like LeBron because

A) They gave him Kobe's crown a bit too early

B) Kobe represents a type of player that LeBron doesn't as far as being a KILLER

C)LeBron i THAT good where his legacy intimidates Kobe fans

I don't want him here because he would be in the last 3 years are so of his absolute prime and we will have a short window, with our best two players NOT being the most confident FT shooters in the world.

Nah, I don't prefer that

That's the best you got? Sorry, but with all due respect, that still just comes off as excuses to hide or disguise your hate.

If he lands in LA, I just want someone to tell him as long as you wear a purple n gold jersey, put your big boy pants on and stop flopping.
If he does, i ll be more than happy.

Reviving old threads I see ;)

Regarding Lebron:

1) His "killer" instinct mentality is no longer in question - he gets it done, he vanquished that notion last year

2) Who cares if he flops? CP3 flops way more often and we wouldn't care if he was on the team....Until the NBA puts in legitimate rules against it, oh well.

3) Lebron does not have some 3 year window after 2014 - that is an asinine thought. I would be willing to throw down big money that he remains elite and a contender far longer than that - assuming he does not go to some bum team...

I would welcome LeBron to the Lakers if he stopped flopping and crying all the time.

Yeah I wouldn't want Lebron or CP3 if they continued to flop and cry.  Screw championships, I prefer non-floppers!  :smh:

I've been giving this much thought (for like 30 seconds), and I think Lebron coming to the Lakers would be alright. Right now, I hate his ugly mug (and we can't have the face of the Laker franchise with THAT kind of face, but with his skills, it trumps all), but if he does come here, Welcome Home.  :welcome:

THis thread is funny to me because those reasons are just stupid for why Lebron will be a laker.  I will put money that Lebron will NOT be a Lakers.

Two words why.

I don't want players that bring disgrace to the game of basketball on the Lakers. The Lakers don't need those players to win championships. Cp3 + LeBron =  1 championship.

Yes that is what they will cause themselves and the teams they play for to remembered as: disgraceful.

OR, you know...no one will care that they flop and no one will remember them for that, and instead remember them for their abilities and accomplishments - which btw, will probably end with more than 1 championship when all is said and done. They are both the best players in the NBA to have a chance to win a championship with...so

Your pick.

i would take him on the team, just to win ships, but i [expletive]ing hate him. he is a flopping, crybaby, douche. if he does all that with us i will hate him even if he is on the lakers. if he can change and be more mature then im cool. but would rather have any other player that is or would become available and is younger.

also he aint coming, if he leaves miami, its Cleveland. or stays put.

I'd welcome Bron on the Lakers, but I'd rather go against him.
