Yeah but in 05 Nash definitely did deserve it.  Phoenix was amazing that year much as I didn't like to admit it and Nash taking out Dallas in game 6 was a legendary performance.  Truly legendary.   If Joe Johnson had never gotten hurt that team likely goes all the way or darn close.

Ok and? What is the media supposed to do? I feel Kobe was robbed of an MVP in 06 but still he's gotten his recognition. Does it bother you that much that the media dick rides Lebron? If so then maybe you take this sports thing to serious. Kobe's place in history is set and its pretty high. He ranges from #2 to 10 on the all time list depending on who you talk to. What more does he need?

It's all about PERCEPTION. This is how it works. If you are a Kobe fan you feel the hate from people if you hate him you think everyone dickrides him and he's overrated. Don't even think about being objective about him. Both sides hate you then. Kobe is probably the most loved and hated on player. Lebron is up there as well. Some people just choose to love bball and have their favs like me.

What? that has nothing to do with media favoring other players more than others?

All I said was Lebron definitely had more love in the media in his career...?

This. It's not even debatable.

James isn't coming to the lakers, we gave nothing to offer. No team, no coach, no pieces and no healthy stars. Houston, OKC, pacers, clippers or golden state, make way more sense.

Thats what I don't understand. People say he betrayed Cleveland because he moved to Miami. He gave Cleveland 7 years and the best supporting cast they gave him was Mo Williams.

If LeBron leaving Cleveland is considered a disloyal move then any working person who decided to switch company or quit their job to try  something else should also be considered a traitor.

I think the disloyal aspect comes from the nature of sports itself, where hundreds of thousands of people have emotional ties to a team. A normal working person wouldn't have that kind of dependency from so many people, and that's the difference I think. And well said about Lebron's Cleveland situation. If a team is that incompetent as to where you have Zydrunas, Mo Williams, and other random pieces for so many years, they deserve to lose.

Too bad none of those teams have the cap space to sign him.

I am really interested for you to explain to me how those teams can sign James.

Does anyone think it's not possible to make room for him? All he has to say is I want to go play at [insert name] and mountains will move to get it done. The point of my post is simply there's no realistic reason for him to come to LA if he's searching for another ring.

Houston for ex have 56 mil in used cap, that only leaves 2 mil but if they traded scola, Lin and asik and released two of there 1 mil dollar players they could sign James for 20 mil and that's only at a glance with playing with the numbers if they wanted it done it could get done most likely better then that. But this is a laker site so back to topic it would be way better if lakers looked hard at the draft and really fig which direction we can build the team rather then hope for miracles.
