if it's a player the fans don't like they will act like he's guilty without reading into it at all =pShould point out that he is being sued in civil court, he's not being charged (charges were dropped months ago for lack of evidence).
Girl is just getting money from him.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Directly from the article:
As we reported, the woman filed a report with the LAPD, which then conducted a rape investigation -- but the L.A. County D.A. refused to file charges against Ebanks due to lack of evidence.
It's pretty clear she's trying to get money,
Now, the woman's hoping to recover monetary damages in civil court -- suing Ebanks for sexual assault and battery, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Great, that's basically the same thing nobody could prove in the first place, lol.
The DUI was really a dumb move on his part, but I'm not seeing anything incriminating here. NBA players often do have people accuse them of stupid stuff because they know they'll just settle the case quickly to avoid any press and a long, expensive trial, which means guaranteed $$ for the accuser.

Why even go there man?
We all know Kobe didn't rape that woman, she just wanted some $$$$$$$$$$
Ebanks could be a different story, this guy isn't a star and barely qualifies as a role player.
He also has this attitude about him where he thinks hes better than everyone.
I wouldn't doubt it if this story turned up true, this guy is making negative headlines every month it seems now.

So because Kobe is a star he gets more benefit of the doubt in a situation like this?
That's horrible reasoning.
Athletes are targets. No matter what level of stardom they have. Even someone like Ebanks has more money than the normal person has.
This stuff is all about money. Going through a civil suit just means Ebanks will be forced to pay her unless he wants to go through an entire trial. He'll settle and she'll never be heard from again.
Fact is charges were dropped because of lack of evidence. Innocent until proven guilty, Ebanks is innocent as far as I'm concerned.
