Well, since the Lakers might consider getting Ryan Anderson I think we can start an own topic just for him.

What are his biggest strengths on the court? I think his 3 Point shot is the only thing which I really consider focus on. He has long arms and can stretch the position of course .

But does he have good defense? Would he be a perfect fit? I think he could advance to a spot up shooter.

What do you think?

Outside K-Love, Chris Bosh or Dirk, i think Ryan Anderson is the best fit in this new system and he can complement Howard very well with 3pt shooting and offensive rebounding.
It's never going to happen, though. Unless New Orleans look to sign a low-post threat / veteran to help the team on its way forward.

The Hornets are the ones making the decision, not the Lakers. LA would most definitely consider it...they would actually make that swap in a heartbeat, but New Orleans is very high on Anderson, and I see no logical reason for them to go out and trade a productive, young player for an older, mentally and physically worn PF that wants to be a point-forward.

I'd love Anderson here, we have the same player (even though Anderson is better) in Jamiison why not start him at the 4

Another option which is more likely is to try to get the "light" version of Ryan Anderson i.e. Ersan Ilyasova, who is struggling in Milwaukee.

Well it woud have to be anderson and friends. The friends part makes this trade very hard. One we really cant take more bad contracts. Maybe one but not multiple. I cant imagine them giving us anderson plus another good player for pau.

I'd imagine it'd have to be at least a 3 team trade.

Mitch pulled off a 4 team trade to get Howard. I never rule anything out anymore.

Can someone post of source to this? I doubt this is even legit....but if it is...i wouldn't do a straight up trade just Ryan by himself...it would be nice if the Lakers could snag up Austin Rivers aswell.

Why would NO do this.
They are rebuilding.
Anderson is making 8mill and Pau is 19mill.
What?

Hornets will be in the lottery the next two years.

Gasol becomes expiring contract next year which means his trade value will go up, can bring back a good player for him if need be or let him expire and have more cap space for that free agency class.

-------

Other than those two reasons, NO has no reason to do it. I still think if Anderson is the target, it will be a multiple team trade.
