It wasn't wrong to fire Mike Brown at the time they did, but they hired an even worse coach.

You always have to have a better alternative whenever you make a change, no matter how bad somebody is.

Uh, they DID have a better alternative.  SMH.

The problem is cap space. All the talks about bringing in young blood is cool, but with one draft pick and again being way over the cap, I can't see a lot of moves being made except for letting the expiring players walk. Lets say Pau is amnestied and peace opts out.. The lakers would be around 52 mil and that's not resigning anybody. If they resign Clark, Dwight and maybe Antwan, thats all their money. Unless your talking about the 1.5 mil to sign another Meeks like player.

MWP is not opting out. He would be stupid to when he is not worth anything near his current salary, especially coming off of a knee injury. I believe LA uses the amnesty clause on him. The one silver lining these past two games is Pau's improving play. Hopefully he can fetch us some young talent or cap space, which can indirectly lead to young talent.

Losses make me happy.

Every one is another inch towards ousting D'Antoni and ridding this organization of this terrible cancer.

I hope your right my Laker brethren. I just feel that the front office will say," we have a great team, just injuries and no offseason practice is the reason for this product on the floor.

If the Buss family (not just Jim) have just a little bit of common sense, they fire MDA as soon as the season's over - unless of course we win it all, which is a bit of a stretch at this point.

The main goal this off-season is to keep Dwight. We wont keep Dwight with MDA around.

Yeah, I get the sense that Dwight doesn't like him very much. I wouldn't either if I was him. MDA doesn't know how to use big guys.

This embarrassing and terrible situation would not be fixed by anyone, not even by the great Phil Jackson.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

NUTS!

And when then the lakers were winning, it was not because Coach was making adjustments that won games, it was just Kobe carrying the team...

I still think he should be FIRED!!!

Let one of the 18 assistant coaches take over!

Let Kobe take over..

ANYTHING but dantonie

And you claim you're a true Lakers fan? Stop it. No true fan would be happy by losses. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I've spoken to people that actually believe that we made a mistake trading Fisher.

Gtfo with that true fan bull[expletive]. Fido has probably been a Laker fan since before you were even born. This front office needs yet another wake up call and losses will do just that. Hell, you don't have to wish for losses, that scenario was already etched in adamantium when the front office hired Mike D'Antoni.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Doesn't matter the age you clown. No true fan ever roots for losses period. No matter how bad things gets I'll always root for the Lakers to win games.

You have a bad habit of calling people names on here. Really shows your immaturity. Just letting you know. People might be more receptive to your posts if you knock that stuff off and actually show dome decency.

Rooting your ass off isn't going to make Mike D'Antoni a good head coach and trying to call people out on their fanship is lame.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Your comprehension and interpretation skills are beyond poor. You shouldn't even be calling people out like that, simply due to the fact that you can't even discern the context in which fido made that statement.
