This is the dumbest thread ever. If we keep losing and losing after Christmas, then it would make sense.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Lakers were doing great after they got rid of that joke coach then they hired MD's [expletive] ass, [expletive] him and anyone that supports him. Bernie > MD

Judging this team without Nash is just idiotic in every sense of the word. Stupid thread. I recommend not drinking and posting.

Why? This team is basically what our team would have been last year if we traded for Dwight. And we all assumed that team would be successful.

Having Phil Jackson back wouldn't really make things that much different. The problems aren't with the coach last night it was just due to a lack of energy. I hope D'Antoni gives hill more burn over Pau.

Mike d antonie is a good coach but his plays hurts the lakers player

Gasol becoming useless and Jordan Hill is becoming useless also

I just don't like his offense

Lakers paid gasol for a high amount of salary and you're expecting to see gasol sitting for the rest of 4th Quarter?

LOL no it's not. Not even close. First of all Dwight even at 80 percent is a enormous upgrade on both ends over Bynum. Kobe is much better than last season as is World Peace. Also Jamison and Meeks are huge upgrades over Murphy and Blake from last season.

We don't need to fire D'Antoni; we need to HIRE Kurt Rambis (defensive). D'Antoni will figure out eventually how to distribute minutes with this old crew to make sure their legs will be up for it down the road. I truly believe he is running these old dogs into D'Antoni offense shape. Remember; this group wasn't prepared to run up and down like this. If we're playing .500 ball in January, Then Worry

I highly doubt Rambis is coming here after the PJ debacle.

Pau Gasol is GONE

The Lakers defensive problems won't be solved with new coaches or assistant coaches. The Lakers had a defensive coach and were still horrible on that end.

The Lakers need to change up the roster. Kobe, Metta, Pau, and whoever the PG is are too slow on defense. It's about having athletes on defense.

Can we wait till the Lakers get Nash/Blake back, and this is way too early. Nobody would fire a new coach after two weeks...
