I'm tired of him, Look at NYK since MD gone, it went well

Look at avery johnson of Nets after he gets fired it went well

We have D12, Gasol, Nash, MWP, Kobe best starting line up in terms of paper

but MD can't utilize those player

Lakers need leadership role and it always start with the coach

how come those player can have a good effort if their morale is low.

I wish lakers pick Phil instead of this Punk

I was arguing with a clipper fan today & he made a good point (A clipper fan!? Really?!) Vinny Del Negro is so wack he got his ass kicked by his own GM in Chicago. But the clippers are Professional enough to still win anyhow. Don't think you can blame D'Antoni for this mess

That has nothing to do with us TBH.

I blame MDA for pushing a system that doesn't/ won't fit.

I blame management for hiring him.

Players gotta play. They take blame too, they are doing what there told IMO.

Not really.

They were both bad hires.

My theory.. This was the leagues idea. David Stern hired Mike D'Antoni to be double agent for the league. His task: Demolish the Lakers organization for the next decade and screw up one of the best looking rosters ever. The league wants the Heat, Thunder, and the rest of the league to win and is tired of the Lakers. Makes sense. LOL

Mike D'Antoni is GARBAGE.

Jerry Buss wanted this guy. This was his hire. I do not know if the Lakers are willing to fire Mike and hire another coach (or give the keys to Bernie).

One thing I know for sure: Jerry Buss is a competitor and hates losing.

IF MDA is going to get fired, it's going to happen up till the All-Star break.

They have the one roster in the league that brings essentially another starting 5 into the game as their second unit. They have the personnel that has athletcism, size, defense, playmakers, scorers, anything and everything you could imagine they have. The Lakers don't have close to the roster the Clippers have.

How you can say you can't blame D'Antoni for this mess is ridiculous. It's not entirely his fault obviously, but he's running the wrong system with this personnel. He deserves a lot of the blame.

The Bulls team that Vinny coached was actually an above average team...besides Rose, Deng, and Gordon, the rest of the team wasn't that good. Noah wasn't the player he is now.

Mike D'Antoni has already canceled Lakers practice -- again -- for tomorrow in LA. But guys might need some time apart after today.

I wasn't as worried about the hire initially because of the assumption that a defensive coordinator would come in and that he would adapt to his personnel. I gave him too much credit.

He doesn't know the first thing about rotations. How many minutes of horrible play does it take to realize that any unit featuring a backcourt of Duhon/Morris is going to fail? Why the hell do we EVER see a Duhon/Morris backcourt? It makes no [expletive]ing sense whatsoever. Plug in two horrible defenders in Jamison and Gasol to man the frontcourt and that's game-set-match. It's not rocket science, this is simple basketball.

I honestly can't understand why Morris is even in the rotation at this point. He brings nothing of value. He can't shoot, can't penetrate, and he obviously can't play defense. He's not some stopper and he gives us zero offensive production. If D'Antoni's going to stick to his awful system, why the hell would you put one of the few shooters on the entire roster (and your only other SG) in the doghouse?

I mean, just how hard is it to get rotations in order so that you have some semblance of floor balance? You don't make whole substitutions of 3-4 guys at once and run with a D-League caliber unit on the floor. You have two superstars and one of the greatest shooters/playmakers to ever play the game. You really can't figure out a way to get at least two of them out on the floor at the same time? To put out a lineup to maximize their strengths?

It is so irritating to see this half-assed display of coaching. It's like Brown never got fired.
