Well I just saw that on Twitter and it's basically what I heard but more has to do with why.

The injury excuse is very prominent in the decision on MDA. It's why you hear a bunch of the disgruntled players backing him all of a sudden.

I still hear that he certainly gone from another person. So we'll see. Gonna be fun lol

so your sources say he will definitely be gone unless they decide to keep him.  who are you, Chris Broussard?

I have one person telling me that if they were to keep MDA, it's because of the injury excuse and that it's a strong feeling they could keep him around.

My other guy has said, and has been saying for months now that there is no way he is brought back. Which is what I tend to believe that more so because of the connections, but it's still concerning to hear the other side of things.

Nothing will be decided till immediately after the season. Based on what I know, there is just too much working against MDA behind the scenes.

Not invited back for his final year. The experiment failed. Lakers just being diplomatic by putting out 'no decision has been made' story imo. You Know it. I know it. MDA knows it. Everyone knows it.

Wouldn't surprise me to see complete roster AND coaching staff overhaul this offseason...again

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick!, 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!)

Which source do you genuinely trust more though and not just because of what you want to hear/believe as well as your heart, but which source as a man/person, do you have more of a history with where you feel more comfortable about their character & what not?

Too late. You're already grown up.

I put more trust in the latter.

Both are good sources of information, but the one who said MDA is gone has yet to steer me wrong when it comes to info.

The person I talked to this morning could have been adding onto Ding's report of D'Antoni, but nonetheless it was disappointing to hear. This is what Ding said in the article:

D’Antoni has one more guaranteed season left on his Lakers contract, and the club is leaning toward retaining him despite some privately disgruntled players and massive public disdain. It’s not clear which way the Lakers will go with him.

One thing to remember, this could have been a ploy to generate hits to the article.  He really leaves it open in terms of the decision.

Fact is that management does like D'Antoni, but there may be too many issues behind the scenes to keep him.

Has nothing to do with the register.

You guys already know I won't BS any of you, there is no need for me to do that.  But I know how interested everyone is in the D'Antoni situation.

If they retain MDA, it's because they know we're not going to compete for the playoffs/a title, so might as well leave in doofus so they don't have to pay him millions to play golf.

That might be the case.

They don't care about the money aspect.
