It is so sad to see the lakers make a lateral movement with their coach.
Dantonie has many of the same problems Brown had.

Players do not respect him
Bad sub rotations
Inexplicable Rotations

In some areas, he is even worse
Leaving Howard in to miss free throw after Free throw was the final straw for me, and i believe, many other laker fans

Im not sure if any NBA team has ever fired 2 head coaches in one season...

But, this is the time to do it.
Bring in Phil

I have no faith in Dantonie
The fans have no faith in Dantonie
The assistant coaches have no faith in Dantonie
The players have no Faith in Dantonie.

Dantonie is a man alone on the lakers.

i garuntee we will win a ring with D'antoni.
why are we struggling still, you ask ---- 1.dwight only nearing 90% health , the Defense wont be nearly as good as it should until he is 100% healthy ,,,im guessing he'll be around 100% sometime in January.
2. dantoni needs a great pg to run his offense, kobe isnt it , nash is,,,and nash is also another capable shooter.

i am 0%,0% worried about our championship aspirations.
the only thing i am worried about, and this is actually D'antoni's fault, IS THE LAKERS FUTURE.D'ANTONI DOESNT LIKE TO POST UP PLAYERS, what if dwight doesnt see a future with us because of this,,,,did mitch and jimbo not understand D'antoni's stance on post ups prior to his hire!???

They are just gettin used to him

they didn't have a training camp and preseason to get used to D'Antoni's Offense

How is it the coaches fault when the whole team plays lazy as [expletive] with no heart?

We should all just start chanting Phil's name again at Staples... that should light some fire under Antoni's ass

So are we just going to start firing every coach within' the first 8 games? Give the man a chance...he's a good coach. The Lakers already owe Mike Brown 18+ mil for his remaining two years....what makes you think they're going to fire Mike D and have to pay him his 4 years and hire another coach?

I'm willing to give D'antoni a longer leash as of now. Fact is, it's still too early to tell how the players will play once the big 3 (Kobe, Howard, Nash) are getting consistent playing time together.

He's not a bad coach, but i agree so far it looks it just was a lateral movement.

But even so, i dont believe we will win it all with him...

D'antoni has barely been the coach, and Steve Nash is not back!

Some of you "fans" may enjoy basketball and love it, but have no realistic clue whatsoever about the game and what it actually takes to professionally run a basketball organization and squad. These things take time, not a matter of a slew of basketball games. Smh...........

What a stupid thread. Why is it the coach that always gets the blame? At some point the players have to care and start playing hard.
