Lakers probably know Mike isn't the right coach... but they won't fire 2 coaches in 1 season, that will make things worse.
Mike will be gone once our season ends whenever that is, only way he saves his job is Championship.

He let them slow the pace down and have Kobe facilitate from the post instead of running up and down the court jacking up 3s and spamming the high pick and roll. There's still hope if he continues to get the hell out of the way and makes proper substitutions. And draw up the occasional play. That's basically what Vinny Del Negro does.

Maybe, I'm a bit skeptical of this because our offense had severe problems last season too and they didn't say anything to Mike Brown.

I think more likely Kobe just said [expletive] it and everyone else kind of fell into place. Of course this is just speculation on my part.

No by that I mean him deciding to play out of the offense and be the primary facilitator on the team, instead of Nash. Before the offense necessitated he take a lot of shots since he had to bail the team out because the offense wasn't working. If he didn't do that LA would have lost every game by 50.

it probably boils down to the actual game.


last night we're up by 18 and gave up that lead. In that situation bringing in some defense to stop the opponents offense might have been the more prudent option.
