We're only going to be better with Dwight reaching 100%.

The FT% is because of Dwight. I was listening to am710 and they said if you take out Dwight's numbers and recalculate the team, they are around 75% which is about 14th in the league.
Still not great but much better than last in the league.

lol morris lockdown defense? kobe isn't a great defender anymore either.
Those are the only guards we have that can play defense and we don't put Kobe on the best player anymore we use him on defense in the fourth quarter in most situations
we don't have many defensive minded players that's the point i'm trying to make

Yea he is.
Kobe pretty much roams on defense and is lazy on closing out on shooters. Kobe CAN be a great defender when he wants to be but that is a rarity. He isn't close to what he used to be defensively though.

We also did a good job of shutting down Ty Lawson and holding Kenneth Faried to 2 rebounds and getting more offensive rebounds against a team that near leads the league in offensive rebounds a game.
Such things aren't talked about sadly
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Our team also broke our longest streak in the shot clock era where another teams player has yet to score 25 on us.

The nuggets have been struggling this year and ty lawson has had some HORRIBLE shooting games this year

Kobe has been very good defensively. Real Deal posted a stat the other day that said he actually has been better on defense so far this season than LeBron.
Kobe is a better On ball Defender than Lebron... always has been and always will be the only credit I can give to Lebron is that he is a good help Defender and not so much a good on ball Defender

Before Nash was injured he was playing great defense and putting in more effort on that side. I think once Nash gets back he will be more consistent on the defense end again because he won't have to facilitate as much.Kobe pretty much roams on defense and is lazy on closing out on shooters. Kobe CAN be a great defender when he wants to be but that is a rarity. He isn't close to what he used to be defensively though.

Kobe is still a very good on-ball defender. His issue is he gets caught ball watching quite a bit which allows his man to get to the basket with ease, whether its off a cut or a offensive rebound.
