Jordan Hill is the most consistent and best energy guy off the bench for us
When he was in a half court offense.
Not anymore.
I like Hill and I think we'll need him come playoff time but if he brings us something that fits this system, you gotta pull the trigger

if you keep pau, hill has to go to bring in a backup wing, someone who can either slash, shoot or both. whoever that is.
for me it's Hill or Pau. and both bring different things. but i'll wait to see how this goes when nash returns, if ever

Lol Wolves aren't trading us their franchise player for our garbage. They're not a rebuilding team, and we don't have any attractive contracts to sell them.
They were really interested in Hill.

Ahh man just imagine 2014 (if Kobe wants to come back we have his bird rights):
Nash
Kobe
Lebron
Love
Howard
Kobe would have to sign for like vet min haha.
you do realize nash and howard alone would prevent us from getting lebron and love. the cap isn't going to be where you apparently think it is.
howard is going to want 20+ a year. nash is at 12, kobe will at minimum ask for 15. that leaves about 11-12 million available. not anywhere near enough to sign lebron or love

Don't know where you're getting your numbers from but Nash's last season, he only makes $9.7M.
Dwight will be at ~$22M.
Kobe won't get $15M from ANYONE in the NBA at age 36 with 19 years on his legs...more like $9-10M (maybe) to match Nash.
That will leave around $15-17M (depending on where the cap is - $57-60M)...not enough for both Lebron/Love but enough to land either.

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!

Source: http://insider.espn....-contenders-nbaLos Angeles Lakers acquire: Shannon Brown, Jermaine O'Neal, Sebastian Telfair
Phoenix Suns acquire: Jordan Hill, Earl Clark
(Notes: O'Neal and Brown cannot be traded until Dec. 15; Hill cannot be traded until Jan. 15)
Why it works for Los Angeles: Adding a former Laker in Brown would give the team a trusty scorer and ball handler off the bench whose game has started to blossom in recent seasons, and veterans O'Neal and Telfair would further solidify what has been a very shallow bench in L.A. through the month of November. Telfair and Brown would push Chris Duhon and Steve Blake further down in the rotation, which could serve the Lakers well.
Why it works for Phoenix: Giving up on Brown and Telfair would sting a little because both have played well in their time as Suns, but this would be a way for the team to buy low on Hill. The University of Arizona product was never a fit under Mike D'Antoni in New York, averaging 10.5 minutes with the Knicks in the 2009-10 season before being traded to Houston, and has barely played since D'Antoni took over with the Lakers. Phoenix would be a better fit for the big-time rebounder. Clark is a throw-in to make the deal work, but the key here is adding Hill (who is signed for a modest $3.5 million in 2013-14) as a guy who can add depth to the frontcourt and possibly back up Gortat.
More than anything I want to hear what you all think.

I saw this article on ESPN just now about possible trade scenarios for contenders. It is an insiders article. No rumors here, only speculation and ideas. This is what the idea was for the Lakers:

I have to agree with you. Not a fan of trading Hill. The guy has more hustle than most of the guys on this team. I just saw it and thought I'd pass it on.That article was so stupid
