Pau coming off the bench is a waste of talent. Perhaps if they stagger their mins more, they'd be ok.

Metta is a better option as the stretch 4 than Jamison and Pau at this point. Pau playing bench 5 with Hill or Metta at the 4 works.

even at pau's regression he's still better than hill. hill is one-dimensional. he should be traded for a SF to either start or come off the bench. Hill has high value, sell high and get a decent wing

When i started this thread, i didn't realize that Jordan Hill actually is a good shooter off the catch. In that case he may actually be able to find a role in the D'Antoni's offense. That being said, he wont get any mins if Pau is here...

If anything this game should show you WHY Hill is needed. He's the only true big aside from Howard that plays the position well and will net you extra possessions. There will be nights when Dwight is in foul trouble or off. And I'd honestly lay my hopes on Hill than Gasol in that situation.

This game showed why this thread is stupid and some members are shallow and ignorant. His role for the lakers are: rebounds, defense, block shots, and set picks. What he brings are: defense, HUSTLE, ENERGY, rebounds, block shots, and a bit of offense.

because he makes Pau Gasol look like Ben Wallace while his shooting is streakier than Meeks and isn't near as aggressive.

Metta has the back up four minutes, Hill is playing well and is better defensively and Jamison has shown he can't play the three so he's [expletive] out of luck

Thats what he gets for coasting when he got his spot. He hasn't done much ever sense the game against new orleans. After that he played like crap for 4 games shooting around 30% and averaging 4-5 points a game. He was getting consistant 20+ minutes a night in those 4 games. Then MD benched him (except for one but he played like 15 minutes) and have won 4 straight.

I really look at jaminson as a guy who just came to this team just to get a ring and not actually win it. His defense is awful so if he isnt scoring he is useless. He gets some rebounds but there are other players out there like hill who can do even better at that.

I think that was the Cleveland game where he made costly fouls and near the end of the game made a dumb foul on Kyrie Irving which iced the game.

Not to mention he's someone we can use when Dwight is in foul trouble or having an off game. I trust him more to be a "big man" than I'd trust Gasol. And Sacre is too inexperienced right now. If he gets that mid range jumper consistent we got a very VERY valuable gem. When "Big Game" James gives you a nickname, it means something.
