What do all these + & - mean?

The net difference when a player is on the court vs off the court...

For example..
.
The starter play the first 6 mins, and the lakers are down 10-12

the starters are ALL -2 for the game.


Duhon comes in for Morris, and the lakers go on a quick 6-0 run... making it 16-12 lakers

Duhon is +6
The rest of the starters are +4
Morris is still at -2 because he was on the bench while the run happen


+/- is a measure of how the team does when that player is on the floor

D'Antoni's system allows that space up top for threes. It's a big reason why he and his offense got the nod over Phil.

Actually I was wrong it's Denver's 12th road game and they have only played 5 at home. Then you add in the fact that they are playing a back to back game on this road trip and the Lakers had 3 days rest. It has to be figured into this game.
