Isn't that crazy? He needs 100 points to reach 30k

Next 3 games are

vs DEN
vs ORL
@ HOU

then

@NOH
@OKC

Usually when Kobe reaches a milestone we lose, so I hope he gets it on the Hornets games because I would hate to lose to Durant or Harden :laughing:

Congratulations Kobe! 30,000 is a testament to his skill, and I am very happy to be able to witness this occasion. I hope he gets there at home TKainZero, it would be nice to have a standing ovation for the moment.

The 6th game is at home vs Utah...so if he averages like 18 ppg next 5 games that leaves him some room to get it at the 6th game at home...but very unlikely we need his scoring unless Pau and Dwight turn into 20ppg scorers magically

It would be nice for kobe to do it against Durrant or Harden.

2 young guns who have a chance to be in the top 25 all time in scoring one day

With the way the Lakers offense has been playing, I wouldn't be suprised if Kobe reached 30,000 against Denver :rock:

He gets to 30k in New Orleans.

That's my guess as well. Regardless of when it happens that's one hell of an accomplishment for #24.

What's crazy is that he's nearing 30,000 points and is still playing at a superstar level.

If this happened in Miami I guarantee pat Riley would do something. He's a class act when it comes to things like that

NOH isn't going to do anything unless the lakers and league ask them to.

There should be some sort of moment of applause, flashing 30,000 on the screen

I mean there's only 4 other players ever to have done it. It's not a regular occurrence. I really think stern should be present and they should have a moment. It's a very special accomplishment

He should pass wilt this season. That's going to be incredible. Passing Jordan next season will be even more special. Malone and Kareem. That's wait and see

That's crazy. He's 34 years old, been around 17 years and still leads the league in scoring and is one of the top 5 players in the world (or top 10, depending who you ask). Hopefully Dwight and the other guys step up so he doesn't have to reach that mark too soon.
