Hmm makes it easier but still dont think its possible to trade him. Just cant imagine a team giving up 19 mill worth of player(s) for pau and that would even help us. I think if he gets traded it will be next season at the trade deadline. He has an expiring contract then and teams that know they must go into rebuilding mode will be willing to give up players to get cap space for the next year.
We can't afford to "experiment" with Gasol for another year. WE just can't. Not on the year we have Dwight Howard on our team and we need to resign him.
if we keep Gasol this year we WON'T win a title. It's just how it is, that's how big of a liability he is.
We are getting rid of Gasol this year as soon as we can and the right deal comes up. We've given him too much "time to figure it out" while everybody else has stepped up and improved their games.
Lakers aren't gonna wait till next year to unload him.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

That was pretty much set in stone when we got Antoni and passed on Phil.We can't afford to "experiment" with Gasol for another year. WE just can't. Not on the year we have Dwight Howard on our team and we need to resign him.
