Almost 20% of the regular season is done

The 8th seed if playoffs started today.
New coach/staff/system.
Still no Nash.
The on court chemistry has definitely been inconsistent.
Theres many indicators that show theres reason to worry. Like Kobe walking off the court early.
That being said were still less than 5 games back of the #1 seed. So theres still a bit of time for change. But if we keep this current pace, by the ASG we will be 9-10 games out of first.
So how much should we expect for the remainder of this season?
Is a Chip even fathomable or are we pretty much conceding and knowing the rest of this season is to build and learn?

Pre-Mike : 1-4
Post-Mike : 6-3
I wouldn't worry too much. When Nashty comes back, we won't have problems offensively. And defense will pick up eventually.

I'm staying away from basketball arguments with my friends who are Miami fans until Nash is back.

Shouldn't you be more worried about the Clippers who have lost 4 straight since you look for any reason to put down our team shouldn't be praising the other one then?
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

So in other words, they are the scum of the earth?Until we have Nash, we can't rate this team. He is the most important guy in our offense. Everything will fall into place when he's back.

and in your opinion how long do you think it takes to "get our chemistry down"? And I'm referring to the chemistry that wins chips. 5 games? 25? 50? Takes teams that build dynasties a few seasons. My question is legitimate. You gotta be kidding me. We're in November for God's sake and you're already talking about conceding the season? Just ridiculous. Nash isn't even back yet so judge this team without him is just stupid. I don't really give a damn what the standings are considering it's still so early in this season. Once the Lakers get their chemistry down they're gonna be as good as any team in the league.
