Ken Berger@KBergCBS
At Lakers shootaround, D'Antoni says Nash has been running "a little bit" and is getting "closer," but it's "still going to be a while."

imo, he seems to be on pace to return in 2 weeks like he said,,,not bad

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

I'm thinking he plays on the Christmas day game; when you look at how much time off they have before that game, it would be a good time to work him in at practice. Plus it's a national game, at home, and against the Knicks.

Looks like he's gonna be back around Christmas as I've been saying. Nash basically broke his leg and he's almost 40 years old, give him a break (no pun intended). It was never realistic to expect him back in a couple of weeks.

That leg break has been healed for the past 4 weeks. They are dealing with an irritated nerve in the area at the moment.

Christmas will be magical. As I open up a clean crisp beer to watch the game, I see Steve Nash on the court, his hair a little longer, looking like vintage Steve Nash. Finally Nash is back and he's ready to ball. Lakers win by 15 against the Knicks. IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS.

Yep. Gotta always realize as well that the week before Christmas we have two three day rest periods. Which is PERFECT for Nash to practice during and get into some shape. We'll be facing the Knicks at exactly the right time.
