I don't think you guys understand that every single game is crucial. We have no time to "wait for them to click" we have to win now. Right now.

We dont have the luxury of waiting. If we dont get a top 4 seed , i dont see us going past 1st round.

Oh I understand, trust me.

But to say you'll lose all faith in this team if they lose tonight is an overreaction if I've ever seen one.

I'm just excited to see him back on the court and we'll be seeing the real Steve Nash, not the Princeton Nash, for the first time all year.

You can't make a fair judgement on the "Princeton Steve Nash"
And what will your opinion on our team be if we lose? Another "we are getting there" excuse? IM not taking that.

Sure I can. In all the games he played, in pre-season and the one and a half regular season games, Nash tried to get everyone to adjust to the Princeton but it made himself become a lesser player in the process. This is his offense to run so he'll go back to being a playmaker and not so much a player who plays off the ball.

And my opinion if we lose? We lost to a good team will be my opinion. This is a great test for us and we need to start winning games now like you said. But I'm not going to lose faith in my team because of a loss.

I don't think this team will need an adjustment period per say with Nash, he makes people better on the offensive side of the ball, we just need to make sure our defense is ready to go. Communication on that side of the ball is something that needs to improve more than anything.

GSW is a good team. Been one of my favorites since they got curry. But with Nash back it's a must win game. Because if we lose tonight we fall to 3games under .500. Anyone think we are the favorites against New York??

I can't see the team needing to adjust at all to Nash coming back. Not offensively, anyway. Maybe a few fumbles from unexpected passes but Nash knows this offense so well he'll be running it in his sleep at 103 years old. If the Lakers lose this game, it'll be for all the reasons they've been losing all year. Turnovers, poor defense, etc.

think people realize if golden state loses 2 straight and we win 2 straight we're pretty much in the thick of things? I don't think any of the top tier teams are gonna get less than 20 losses. West isn't easy and a lot of the top teams are starting to lose some games.

The Lakers weren't good even when Nash was on the court this season. I know most of that was preseason, but you can tell it was the same team that the Lakers are right now. I just don't see it making that big of a difference.

The top of the NBA won't win as many games, but the bottom and middle playoff teams are better than they have been in years. Those are the teams the Lakers need to worry about. I think getting a top 3 playoff seed is already out of the question.
