I was thinking about this earlier. As most of us have agreed with, the Steve Nash injury was basically a blessing in disguise because it has given Darius Morris the chance to really break out of his shell and become a real player for us, obviously he is still far away from being a great productive player but he has made great improvement from where he was last year. And of course I wish that Nash's injury wasn't lasting so long but anyway.
How do you see us when we have everybody in their natural place? Do you think Morris will still play at a high level coming off the bench. I personally think things are on the way up for this team after they finally won a game the way we are supposed to play, which was with ENERGY. And because of that I think we will finally become the team we were designed to be, a great, talented, championship caliber team.

I find it hilarious how everyones opinion on the team and individual players can do complete 180s and 360s after single games

Well my opinion had never changed from the start of the year. I always said that we needed to bring energy to win and once we do that and realize its all we need then we will go on the up. Plus I never talk bad about our players, not even Pau as of recent because I know in the long run he will be there to help us win.

Changed the title a bit, originally thought this was one of those threads talking about the Lakers 3-4 years down the road before reading the first post.

We'll look much better once Nash and Howard are completely healthy. We still haven't seen much of the Dwight/Nash PnR in action due to the limited time they've spent together. With Jamison and Meeks starting to get on track along with Metta playing great in the system, I'm pretty anxious to see a Nash/Meeks/MWP/Jamison/Howard lineup on the floor in about a month's time.

Once we really hit our stride, this team will be amazing to watch nightly.

Thanks for changing it, i didn't make it very clear in the title. Yes I also can't wait to see that lineup with a couple of the bench players mixed in along with a young dwight and Nash making the passes. Lets hope for the best!

This team has potential to be great. The question is when .. When is Nash coming back, when is Dwight going to be 100%, when is the bench going to be consistent .. A lot of "whens".

After the AllStar break we will be great and playing well. We will have also made a roster change by then. Probably a trade what will certainly involve Blake. But in true Laker fashion, we will still take some games off and have no energy on some nights. All in all, I think we'll be a 4th seed.

I don't know how we'll be with Nash or how that roster move will affect us, so I can't say we win it all right now. But I certainly hope so!!

I want to see what our legs will be like around game 70. If D'Antoni keeps this 8 man rotation crap I don't if we will hold up

He's still figuring things out as well. I doubt that we'll see that 8 man rotation every night.

Championship or bust. No question asked. We are the Lakers. We dont put Western Confererence championship banners. We dont put Pacific division leader banners. We put championship banners. Even if we are not the best team in the NBA at the end of the year, as long as we have a chance to compete for a championship, we SHOULD and WILL win it all. Enough with all this "yea it would be nice to go to the playoffs and compete but we dont have to win it all " crap.
