Hill's playing time went down a little because Jamison has played very well at the 4 spot these past couple games. I don't mind it, right now, but JHill has to get minutes when Pau is playing horribly.
Pretty much that, and D'antoni ran Hill some minutes early when we went on our 7-0 run. But Gasol was playing well and Jamison was playing well so D'antoni went with it while it worked.
On the nights Pau is playing like absolute crap we'll probably see Hill in. Remember D'antoni said he is going to play Jamison at the 3 and the 4 depending on the matchups and what the defense is giving.
Last night we were able to take advantage of Jamison at the 4 and at the 3 because he used the mismatch inside as a 3 and stretched the floor well as a 4 and played aggressive like we need from him.
Hill had some nice shot opportunities but his mid range wasn't falling for him so D'antoni went with Jamison because of his scoring and his rebounding(he had 15 rebounds) and it ultimately seems like the right decision for that game.
Our team is deep enough that we CAN play multiple rotations for different minutes at a time and D'antoni shuffled around the lineup a bit and the lineup he put Hill in went on a 7-0 run so it's obviously a good sign.
D'antoni said he's trying to find minutes for everyone Hill included and is going to be looking at a lot of different rotations throughout the course of these games.
Come on our bench just scored 42 points last night while D'antoni was going through different rotations, can we NOT find something to bash?
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

...And nobody likes rookies unless they're a lottery pick
