Hey all, this is my first ever post,

Steve Nash should come off the bench when he returns:

this will solve the weak bench problem, and Steve Nash can make anybody on that bench looks like a star, pick and roll with Jordan Hill or dish out 3s for Meeks, Lakers bench will look like PHX SUNS.

since Nash is not starting, Kobe can have the ball more (just like the old Lakers). Kobe/Pau/D12 + a bench lead by Steve Nash, Lakers will score 120 + points against anybody.

Instead of Nash why not have Gasol off the bench.

It would make more sense to put Nash in with the better defensive players (to make up for his lack of defense), and players he's able to run P&R with (to maximize our offense's effectiveness), than to stick him out there with ineffective players. That would be a task for Dwight or Kobe, because both can get their own without any help, and both can create shots almost as well as Nash can (and while Nash is an excellent passer, he needs the P&R to create...Kobe and Howard don't).

I agree with the above post. Nash isn't a very good defender, in fact, he's terrible. It would do the Lakers better if his "lapses" on the defensive end were covered by a healthy Dwight Howard. Also, Nash is a great shooter. Teams are obviously going to help off of MWP, but at times they may be forced to help off of Nash. If I'm the Lakers, I'd rather have Nash shooting an open 3 than any of the other PG's on the roster.

You know what's funny? I actually was telling my friends that we should start Nash but give him maybe 10 min a game with the second unit.
