I hate Mo, but off the bench he would be absolutely killer. Maybe. Who hates this, who likes?

Details and controversy? Where? Though that's a great trade I doubt Utah would do it.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

The details and controversy lie within the MACHINE!

But seriously...I was just thinking about some comments Utah's management was making over the summer, and I really don't know that they would be opposed to such a deal. I think we may have to swap Duhon with Blake or Morris, but it may be workable if they feel Milsap is a tradeable asset before he goes to FA.

That would be great, but I don't think Mo would do it.

Mo wants to be a starter, but man. That would be nice, lol.

yeah Mo does want to be a starter, but I think he would shut the [expletive] up and fit in line if he were to be able to play with Kobe, Nash and Howard.

I'd love this deal, but I don't see why Utah would go out of their way to help us and take on Gasol's monster contract. There's very little incentive for them here, they don't really improve much at all. We're an inter-conference rival, we've destroyed them numerous time in the postseason, and I'm like 99% sure that they have no use for Pau trying to open up more minutes for Kanter and Favors.

they wouldn't do this. they want to get rid of milsap to give favors a shot, why bring in another big to start over him

ya i agree , that would be smart,,, maybe they could be a top 6 team in the west if the delt milsap for players at positions in need.

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?

Take Mo out, and maybe the Jazz will consider it.

I can see them trading either Milsap or Al for Gasol
They just way too many bigs, limiting the development of Favors and Kanter ; Pau would be an upgrade, and he could mentor the 2

But as for Mo, I doubt the Jazz will let him go

I think a 3-way with Atlanta and Jazz would be good

No way Utah does that trade. It makes them worse and us better. Why would they wanna make the Lakers a better team? If this was a 2010 Pau I could definitely see them doing this deal, but now he's severely declined. On top of that he has a terrible contract. Not a chance in hell the Jazz would do this trade.

Utah will never do this. Sorry to say this is quite stupid no offence.

1) Utah already has a full front court I see no reason why they would trade pf, for another pf
2) taking duhon?really?
3) why do they give us mo Williams?

This is stupid and a pipe dream

You speak as if Pau has fallen off the cliff.
Pau may have lost his mid-range and perhaps some of his passion, but he still has his post game and passing.
Pau would be an upgrade over either one of them
Not to mention, Pau would is an expiring contract next season ; Jazz will let go or trade one of them anyway (they'll ask for 4 year contracts),Right now, they are in the middle of the pack, they might as well go for an upgrade in Pau, who could be a great mentor to their young Bigs.

Uyah wouldn't do the trade if Mo is included though

i would take Reke instead of thornton. He's still young and has a chance to turn his career around. Dude is a stud. He's wasting away at Sacramento playing the 3.

man, if his jumper was better id be all in,,,,hes just so one dimensional right now! thorton is a microwave, dude can score in any way! id love for tyreke to be a superstar too tho, my friend.. i think isaiah and thorton could cure our bench man. and then get thorton some minutes with the starters too,,,less mwp...

Love the trade, but for Pau to be moved, a third team would have to get involved. Realistically, I can hardly think of 2-3 teams that would take on Pau.
