We all know that one day Kobe will be honored with a statue outside of staples (or whatever arena the lakers are at when the time comes). now looking at all the other statues, we have the recent Kareem with his pattened skyhook. we got chick hern announcing, magic seeming to call a play, no doubt getting ready to dish a dime. when I think of Kobe, his has to be him with his shirt in his mouth, doesnt it?
The statue will be of him infront of a brick wall, still scoring the fade-away!
Lol in all honesty though, I think it will either be that pose where he has his hands on his knees, or a fade-away

Fadeaway or the 81 pose
Either one of those is what I'd want it to be also

Dunk over D12
Ironically, that will be Dwight's statue as well in 40 years

But it will probably be one of these three:

I'd be inclined to believe it would be this. Spectacular 81 point performance at Staples, what more needs to be said?

another idea i had was a "logo" type statue for him,
not exactly this, but you get the idea...more similar to the actual NBA logo

here's an example of a fadeaway that i would actually like in statue form

ah, i see that the 81 point pose kobe would also have a taped finger, thats so kobe. but ya its gotta be the 81 perfromance imo, thats nba history, for the lakers... .. itll be the lakers way of saying, "ya he did that, for us,too" and it wont be forgotten then, too
"The West aint close, now that the LAL got Dwight, who gon stop him on OKC!????" - Chris Webber (nba tv -August)
Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?
(Peace Pau we need pieces, not MettaWorldPieces!!!!!!!!)

Id go with the 81 tho
-prime years
-2nd highest scoring game for a player
-badass pose with tape on finger like some said
-all we really had was kobes scoring during those years wich was amazing
either of those would be fine i guess
