Yes this is the trash talking =p Gerald brought up their free throw troubles and bet Kobe would miss the shot. To which Kobe asked "How much you want to bet/put on it?" and then asked it again. When Wallace answered anything, Kobe said "Put 500 grand on it." But wallace backed down :laughing:

Nice to see those two always competing, obviously a respect there.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.


You should reach more often ;)

This belongs in the same category of his career as the no-flinch Matt Barnes ball fake. So gangster. Those were some clutch free throws, and he's at the line laughing at Wallace and telling him to put 500K on it. What a boss.
I like Gerald though, that guy was a monster on defense last night. As well as Metta World is playing, I wish we had him on the wing instead.

no... if they had him now that would be fine. but he is to old at this point and to injury prone.

he did focuss watch it again. right before he shoots he goes into super focuss. if anything 500 grand would make you focuss more.

Something I've learned about kobe as I have watched him for 17 years do not ever ever ever try to get in his head he just goes even harder and scores more when people trash talk him...

Yes, coming off the bench for us would be awesome, because it would save him from playing heavy minutes and lower the chances of injuring himself. We wouldn't be able to count on him for the kind of offense we count on Artest for in the offense. As D'antoni said the other night he wants Artest to be scoring close to 20 a game and making 4/10 three pointers on average, so his role is much more important offensively than previously and he's handling it very well. Wallace wouldn't be able to do that. I don't think he hit a three last night, correct me if I'm wrong.

But he's GREAT for defensive hustle plays and would be awesome in a bench lineup with Hill if we wanted to go defensive. That ensures that even when our bench isn't scoring the other team wouldn't.

But his contract is too huge for us to not give up a big piece if we wanted to get him and he's getting up there in age and injury prone-ness. But it's a nice 2k fantasy lol
