Of course we should have if we COULD have, but if you remember at all, his agent and him basically pulled an Ariza on us. He obviously couldn't handle the spotlight nor the fact that Mike Brown was severely underutilizing his skills and game ever since the 'slow it down' speech. He was never the same and never quite as comfortable/nor his natural self.
This is true, he seemed uncomfortable last year and even a little intimidated playing with Kobe. I would think he'd be a good fit in this system though. He is a great assist guy and can hit the 3. Oh well, it's over now.

Not exactly 'probem solved', but it might not hurt at this point, especially for super cheap. Nothing to lose really.
Upgrades our bench defense and we will have a scorer off the bench

No. Just no.^ The point guard situation goes like this:
Nash (25 Mins)
Blake (12 mins)
Morris(10 mins)
Duhan(1 mins)
Have you been watching the games?
Duhon has been playing very well, setting up his teammates for easy buckets.
He is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Morris

Lakers are about winning....not potential.Yes i have been watchin his games. I prefer Morris over Duhon. I respect what hes doing. Shootin the 3, playing ok defense, gettin the right players spots. but with morris, he has a potential. the more playin time he gets, the more get better
We have a better chance of winning with Duhon in. He knows how to control the flow of the game and is under control.

Hill, Mike Brown's favorite, is in the doghouse
Duhon is Duhon, but he's been decent
Ebanks, despite his potential, is an idiot

Yes, but think about it. Under Mike Brown and his slow pace system, Bench players don't get many touches
Under D'Antoni's fast pace system, they get a lot of touches. Once they get a good game or 2, their confidence gets a boost
