in the NBDL?CDR dropped 49/7/8/3 couple days ago .. The guy could add to the bench, worst case he wont be as bad as our bench production

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

The only reason CDR was waived, in my opinion, was because Ebanks had the guaranteed contract, and I believe a no-trade clause (based on a technicality, just like Morris). Otherwise, if we had a choice between the two, and the ability to give one the same amount of money as the other...Douglas-Roberts would be on our roster.

I'm pretty sure a spot on the Lakers roster, in the city of Los Angeles, with potentially the best chances to get a ring? I don't care what happened in preseason, he wouldn't let that factor into his decision. I'm sure he realizes at this point that the NBA is a business. But I dont know if the the Lakers wanna offer him something? I mean think of the perspective as CDR.. he did the offseason with the Lakers, then got released 3 days before tip off.. I mean how bad can you feel ? And then see an offer from the same team which just released u? Would you accept that? I dont know... (we are not talking subjective perspective that its the biggest franchise in basketball history) lets stay objective in this one..

I can't believe that so many of you put so much stock in D-League stats and apply it to the NBA.

50 in the D League has no bearing on what he can do in the NBA.

Obviously we know 50 in the D league is not gonna translate to being dominant in the NBA, but that can translate to being serviceable(unlike everyone on our bench besides Hill) look at all the guys from the D-league in the NBA that are decent role players who never dominated the D league the way CDR is.
Thats the whole point of the D league is for guys is for guys to work on their games and hopefully shine there so they can make an NBA roster and actually contribute to the team.

50 points is pretty impressive. And CDR is already a proven NBA caliber player.50 in the D League has no bearing on what he can do in the NBA.

Okay so he put up 30 against Miami and Chicago (two of the best defensive teams). Tell me when Ebanks has done that. Thanks.50 in the D League has no bearing on what he can do in the NBA.

Actyally I think ever sense MB was fired he lost ay chance of playing time. I think the whole DUI was just a coincidence at the time.CDR would get time on the court, probably over Ebanks. I don't see why we continue to believe in him. CDR is actually a better player than he is.

I'd like this. Great shooter and I think Pietrus would be a good fit in Mike's system.
