Its not 2010 anymore. Dirk, Milsap, Love, and Aldridge are all better players.

and...? thats part of being a great player. Thats why those players that I named are better. The only difference I seen in Pau is his mindset and aggressiveness... if you watched the Olympics he still has the skillset to be dominant but is very passive now

Really? Those players can't contribute what Gasol does for this team he just needs to be more mentally tough
Posted November 20, 2012 - 03:05 PM
Really? Paul Gasol is contributing 14/9 on 43%..............Yea all those players can make that contribution and more.

Do you think some of his decline is due to him playing at PF not C?
Posted November 20, 2012 - 03:14 PM
Doesnt matter he is mentally weak and is too passive. Those other players are better for that reason.okay.... but the Skillset of Pau Gasol is superior to all the players you named.... the only thing he needs to do is use them... Gasol is one of the best post players in the league but settles for jumpshots he has to change his mentality and he would be much better than what he has been playing

Bosh wouldn't spread the floor any better than Pau. In Fact, as it stands Pau is this stretch 4 that everyone keeps griping about. Funny how its only the fans that complain, but the coaching staff, management and his fellow players are perfectly fine being "stuck" with a hall of fame level PF that is still amongst the best in the league.
And to think, some wonder why so many people dislike Laker fans.

Great post, agree 100 percent. Last season Pau shot over 50 percent was for the most part a mid range shooter. Same thing this season except he's simply making shots. Eventually law of averages will kick in and those shots will start to fall.Bosh wouldn't spread the floor any better than Pau.
