Why?
Blake is OLD
Morris is much younger and Morris needs more experience
Blake can't thrive anymore cause he's Old already
Were talking about offense? both player sucks at offense blake and morris but if we were talking about defense I'll take Morris
yeah I know Blake is much superior in offense but remember Defense Wins Championship
People should realize this is a long season and this is the time that Morris needs to thrive cause he won't be effective in playoffs
Remember our player are OLD already and they are injury prone
"If I can do it tomorrow I won't do it today!"

LMAO at someone voting for Duhon that had to be a joke
Duhon have three things going for him: he can shoot 3s, he is a decent defender and he have played in a Mike D'Antoni system.
I would still vote for Morris though.

Yes you are very correct people overlook that, even this season people have the idea cemented in their head that Duhon is a scrub even if they have not seen him play before, I would say he was been good when hes on the floor hes the best defender out of all the PG on the lakers, not saying much but still.Duhon have three things going for him: he can shoot 3s, he is a decent defender and he have played in a Mike D'Antoni system.
I would still vote for Morris though.

I say Morris, the back up PG should at least be able to do 1 or 2 things better than the main PG
Blake is just an inferior version of Steve Nash
?? Confused at your logic. If a backup PG is better than the main PG, then shouldn't the back PG be the main PG?

Man this anti-veteran players thing is absolutely the most pointless argument you can possibly muster. Age wins, proven act in the NBA. Youth has never won a chip in this league - ever. And it's not changing any time soon.
Putting an inferior player in simply because they're younger is just mystifying.
I still vote Duhon in this system as the primary back-up.

Duhon is what he is. We need to force more travel calls so we can see what he is really made of.
Blake, by default.

Dallas MavsChampionship teams have a mixture of veterans and young players I doubt we can win with just all old players..... I want someone to name a team that won a championship with no young role players or young star
So you take one stat line from one game. Yea thats logical when you cry about how you can't judge a player from 19 games last season.stats back it up huh? 3 assists 5 points in 40 minutes he's really tearing it up while being torn up lol

Steve Nash can do anything Steve Blake can do, but he can't do anything Morris can do.

Dallas Mavs

Dallas Mavs had Jose Barea coming off the bench and Tyson Chandler being a defensive Anchor where what they need to push them into the playoffs they've had the same players for a while but they needed that inside presence and somebody changing the dynamic coming off the bench
Blake has done that 2 or 3 times JUST THIS SEASON and we've played under 10 games (10 games including todays) and 4 of those games where he has played 30-40 minutes he didn't break double digit points or in the assists column... I don't understand how he is lighting it up or having a good season when he has still not registered a double digit game with extended minutes?
