Hey guys,
I thought about this when I heard that he signed with the Clippers. I've been a huge fan of Jamal Crawford since I started watching him play and I knew that he was going to be a huge player for the Clips once they signed him and it really quite frankly made me mad. Why didn't our management pursue him? Our bench was what needed fixing the most this past offseason and of course I love Dwight and Nash but we could have replaced Murphy/Barnes with Crawford and our bench with just that one dude would be so much more improved.
What do you think?

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

cuz we like to overpay for low productive players like Blake & MWP who make too much $! Rather than pay guys who play above their contracts & can produce big games at any chance they are given major mins like Crawford. When we have chances to get players that can be reliable for the cheap pricetag = we dont even give them a look we let other teams take them. SMFH.

Cuz he doesn't fit the 'system'. Too much of a one-on-one player. We can't have that apparently unless it's Kobe.

What did the Clippers get him for.....the dude is a "playa" The Clippers are loaded...big time players starting and a big time bench, they are centainly a top 5 team right now.

this thread should be "why do the lakers keep missing out on bench scoring studs" ... jamal is the biggest stud,by a good margin, but, barbosa and delonte can score the ball very well ,too!!!!!!!!!!!!! jamal can single handedly carry a bench,,, but barbosa and delonte can be GREAT 2nd options to a Pau or Dwight

He's playing under 30 minutes a game, He would never come , not the money will satisfy him when he can go elsewhere for more, nor minutes distribution, unless you want kobe to play 18m ,, even making kobe play at the 3 is not a good possibility..

Let's face it, between Kobe and Pau's contracts not to mention MWP and Blake's, it's going to be rough to sign anyone that makes sense

Whatever, this dude is playing well at the moment, well the bench needs to step up, either on defense or offense. If you limit the goals the other team makes without a load of fouls you will suceed, or outscore them 25% of the time and have more pocessions. Lets see how they respond to MDT first, ok, sure JC would have been an improvement but thats not a possibility now is it? Next!!
