Just curios Real Deal. What you programing this is. I assume your using CSS. Are you just coding it in dreamweaver or is there a drag and drop program. I never really got into web programing but me and a few friends are developing a really complicated server thats like dropbox linked with a website so I need to start getting used to this stuff.

Haha...nah, I do all of my coding from scratch, in Notepad. I don't like using Dreamweaver. It's easy for most people, but I've learned so much over time, I'd rather type it out...gives me more flexibility.

You'd laugh at what I have to sit in front of when I'm coding, lol. Here's a screenshot of my computer from my bedroom (on the laptop right now):



You'll see Chrome, Firefox and IE open at the bottom. Always have FileZilla up, and Photoshop most of the time. Notepad is always up, of course, along with a bunch of tabs on Chrome.

I know how you feel. I usually have Idea, Xcode, terminal, chrome, possibly eclipse if needed and this really bad machine code toy thing called pep8 which are open all day everyday. The best feeling is when I finally finish a project and I can close out of everything and see my desktop for the 1st time in like a 2 weeks. And yea I was trying to use dreamweaver a little while back but it seemed more annoying than helpful.

Also are you having all your web browsers open to check if your site is compatible because if so I believe there is a app on the chrome store thing that will let you test your code on all the types of browsers. My friend who is a web developer uses it a lot.

Yeah, it's probably the one the Google team developed. I'm just old school, I guess, lol. That app repeats a lot of things I've known for a while, and that I still use, regardless of compatibility issues (there are a lot of fixes I get around, especially with IE)...that's what 13 years of coding does for you, hahaha.

Did you ask in another topic? I'm not seeing your other post in here.

It's a big deal, though. Personally, I like having that information under avatars. The dedicated guys (our veteran members) can be helpful every now and then, to those who come in with questions (ex. how to post an image or embed a video).

I'll check into it.

slightly disappointed. imo, the previous laker version/skin was better. but i'll try to get accustomed to it.

Criticism doesn't bother me at all...but dude, the skin is nearly the same. The only thing I changed (that was significant) was the maintitle bars (from purple to a white), and I added a Lakers logo into every post. Nearly everything else is identical, lol. I had the old skin open on my own message board, basically looking at it and trying to duplicate the design.

What differences are bothering you?
