Pau Gasol for Rudy Gay

If the lakers could get him somehow...
And, how great would it be to see the Gasol Brother on the same NBA team...
No way Memphis would do this, they have a loaded Frontcourt...
Possibly a 3 team trade, where the Griz can send out a post player....
I think Rudy Gay would be a Great player for the lakers long term.
And would be a nice long term piece to have next to Dwight Howard...

I would not mind Rudy Gay, either. Love his game, I think he'd make a good fit.

This game's in the refrigerator, the door is closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jello's jigglin'!"

This trade good for Lakers at long term. But short term, I think; Gasol must stay. Because; if Gasol back to himself, we win great advantage at frontcourt. Also, Gasol was 2. man 2009 and 2010. Certainly, he's playing bad now. But according to me; we must be patient.

That being said, i think if we had to trade Pau this would be a good move for all four teams.
Another option would be this:
Lakers get: Rudy Gay and David West.
Memphis get: Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace.
Indiana gets: Zach Randolph.
Ps. salaries don't match entirely, so Indiana would have to get rid of 4 million, which shouldn't be a problem.

Rudy gay can match up with lebron on the defensive end, and has enough of an offensive game to make him work on the other end.
Pau would be very hard to trade. His talent and skill set is much higher then the talent the lakers would be likely to get back
I think Jordan hill is the lakers future at PF and I would love to see hill and Howard as the starting frontcourt for the next 7 years, Pau is a laker legend, but even fisher was traded...
A three team trade would be nice, gasol would love to return to Memphis and play with his brother. Memphis went deep in the playoffs without gay and then was bounced early with him. But, Memphis has a great frontline with z-Bo and Marc gasol, and neither of the 3 shouldcome off the bench
Rudy gay is a pipe dream
But hey
Who thought the lakers would fire mike brown 5 games in

Im not too sure about that. Memphis is a small market and having Conley, Gay, Randolph, Gasol and Arthur taking up 60+ million the next 3 seasons could perhaps force them to make some adjustments.i would love this trade but there's no way Memphis would want to do this unfortunately
I dont think they will do anything right now, though. This season is the last season with the normal lux-tax levels and they are really looking good this year as well (They are 6-1 with a huge win against Miami as well as beating OKC on the road).
Next season will be a whole different matter. Unless they win the whole thing or lose in the finals i think they'll move Randolph and/or Gay.
